Liberty's Savage Garden

This Side of Me

Honestly, I haven't exactly desided what I want to do with this section of my site. I'm probably just going to use it to show everyone how UN-Savage I can really get. *lol* For now, I have put lyrics to some songs that have touched my heart for some reason or another. Here is this side of me....

The Dance
Written by Tony Arata, as sung by Garth Brooks

This song is placed on this site in memory of Owen Hart who was tragically taken out of this world simply by doing what he loved to do...entertain the world. His presence will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his family. May they find some peace within this storm cloud. R.I.P. Owen Hart May 7, 1966-May 23, 1999)

The Change
Written by Tony Arata, Wayne Tester, as sung by Garth Brooks

This song is placed on this site in memory of all of those lives lost in Oklahoma City, Littleton, and disasters around the world. We will never forget..

Holes In The Floor Of Heaven
Written and sung by Steve Wariner

Dedicated to all of those angels who have come and gone from my life. Including my Grams. My love for all of you still cuts me deep.

I Will Remember You
Written by Sarah McLachlan, Seamus Egan, Dave Merenda, as sung by Sarah McLachlan.

Dedicated to Sergi Grinkof, Brian Pillman, and all of those souls who spent their lives entertaining the world, and were taken from it way too soon.

Independence Day
As sung by Martina McBride.

A song for every woman and girl who has suffered from domestic violence, and a plea to the world to no longer turn their backs away from the problem.

Living In A Moment
Written by Pat Bunch and Doug Johnson, as sung by Ty Herndon.

Ty was the man who had my heart wrapped up in his voice till Darren stole it away. *lol*, this song will always remind me of the time I met Ty...the moment that year I would have died for. Thanks Ty for being my dream come true!

Unpretty
TLC

Dedicated to all of you who tried to bring me down. You know who you are. And for myself, for allowing them to get to me...even after all these years.

Push
As sung by Matchbox 20

I put this song up for two reasons. One is because I'm going through a Matchbox 20 kick. The other reason is because this song always reminds me of TTMAB. Don't ask me why. Perhaps it's because I see myself so well in the lyrics.

The Little Girl
As sung by John Michael Montgomery

This is another song like Independence Day. I've worked closely with victims of Domestic Violence, so this song deeply touches my heart. Even when I simply read the lyrics it brings a tear to my eye.

Stan
As sung by Eminem

My taste in music varies. Everything from Savage Garden to country music, to even Eminem. I really love this song because it sends out a powerful message about something that is very difficult for a lot of stars to talk about. However, I will have to warn you that these lyrics have some explicit language.

Kiss This!
As sung by Aaron Tippin

I decided I needed a happy song on this page, and this song is my feel good song. Every time I have a bad day at work and this song comes on the radio I crank it up because sometimes I'd love to tell the world to KISS THIS!
